Community Resources

We would like to tell you about some resources that might be useful to you as needs arise. We have an in-house Medical Supply Library, and we'd like to gauge interest in linking members of our church family with one another concerning needs that might be met by others who have skill in different areas.

Explore all of the wonderful resources below!

Domestic Violence

We hope and pray that neither you nor your children are experiencing violence or abuse. You are made in the image of God, and you deserve safety and dignity! If you are being hurt, it is NOT your fault, EVER!  Nothing you do or say can ever justify abuse against you or your kids. You need to get safe first, and then you can work on the larger issues. The Blackburn Center in Greensburg has a mission of ending domestic violence, once and for all. They are passionate about being your advocate as you journey toward a safer and more peaceful life. Find out more about what the Blackburn Center can do for you by clicking the button below.

Before You Go

The passing of a loved one is filled with enough pain by itself, but all of the decisions and arrangements that must be made add a terrible extra weight. It’s so much better to plan ahead and set things in place. One of our church members has interviewed families impacted by loss, and assembled many helpful resources to lighten the burden on spouses and families. Please feel welcome to use the many helpful tips in this document!

    Helping Hands Sign-Up

We would like to explore if there is interest in a "Helping Hands" program here at our church. If members have needs such as:
    • Transportation
    • Work around the house
    • Sitting with a family member while a caregiver goes out
    • Going shopping for someone who needs to stay home
    • Automotive maintenance
    • Any additional needs our Church community may have

We would like to match them up with others in the church with availability or skills to match. If you have time or skills you'd like to share with others in the church family, or if you have a need for help, please fill out the form. This will be based on interest, and will take some time to build up a roster of people with various skills and willingness to serve.
In what way are you interested in participating in Helping Hands?
