Join Us In Fellowship

We love to come together outside our worship services, just for food, fun and growing closer. Some events continue through the year, and some are seasonal. Our men gather for monthly breakfasts, and our women for monthly lunches. We have Bocce Nights in the summer and Game Nights in the winter. From Young at Heart Luncheons for seniors, to Christmas Teas for the ladies, please feel welcome to take part with us!

Bocce Nights

Here at First Baptist, we are blessed to have two nice Bocce courts at the rear of our building. Monday nights June through August, we meet at 6:30 pm for intergenerational fun! The great thing about Bocce is that it can be played, and played well, by people of all age groups (ask us about Bill)! Join us and our “Bocce Commish,” Jim Gongaware, for some friendly competition and even some half-time ice cream!

June 5th: We had an excellent start to our 2023 Bocce Season, with 24 attenders! Lots of fun was had by all with keen competition, good-natured jokes and lots of laughs.

Young At Heart Luncheons

The First Baptist Church hosts a monthly luncheon for senior adults of our church and our community. It is held at noon in the Fellowship Hall, on the third Thursday of each month from September through May.

For over twenty years, the “Young-at-Heart” Luncheon has been prepared and served by members of our congregation. You'll enjoy a delicious hot lunch along with an inspiring program and uplifting fellowship. Cost is free-will donation. Young-at-Heart Programs vary from music performances and game days to guest speakers.

Men's Breakfasts

The men of our church like to get together, just to have a great breakfast, to share laughs and good company! Once in awhile, one of us might have some interesting information to present as well. If you'd like to meet some of the other guys, this would be a great opportunity to do so in an informal setting. For more information please call the church.

Women's Luncheons

On the first Tuesday of each month, the ladies of our church gather at 11:45 am for a delicious lunch, relationship-building and laughter. If you’d like to meet some of the other ladies, this would be a great opportunity to do so in an informal setting.
